A Religion major at Lycoming College studies a full spectrum of disciplines that prepare a student for a variety of occupations in ministry, social services, law, business, and education.
The Religion Department at Lycoming is distinctive when compared to other small colleges; the diverse curriculum offers a broad range of study in Christian social ethics, death and dying, and biblical studies, along with course offerings in theology and comparative religion. Students will also be enriched by biblical language offerings in Greek and Hebrew as well as active field work in Archaeology and Culture of the Ancient Near East.
