Dr. Jonathan Williamson joined the political science department as an assistant professor. He received his doctorate in political science at Emory University from where he received a master's degree. His undergraduate degree, with a dual major in political science and psychology, is from the University of Houston (Texas). He has taught at Agnes Scott College, Reinhardt College and Emory University. His teaching and research interests include American political parties, state and local politics, and American government.
