Theologist to give lecture at Lycoming College

RobbinsBookTheologist Dr. C. Michael Robbins will give a presentation at Lycoming College titled “Re-Solving Sin with a Re-Sacred Story: An Encounter of an Iroquois Prophet with Jesus,” on Wednesday, March 19, at 8 p.m. in the Barclay Lecture Hall, G-11 in the Heim Building. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Robbins is a lecturer in advanced Greek at Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, Calif., and an adjunct professor of religion at the Haggard School of Theology at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, Calif.

Robbins is the author of “The Testing of Jesus in Q,” and is now working with Dr. Steven Johnson, associate professor of religion at Lycoming, on the revised edition of “New Testament Greek: A Beginning-Intermediate Grammar.” He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska, a master’s degree from Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia, and a doctorate from Claremont Graduate University.
