AFTER LYCOMING
Our majors and minors pursue careers in many different areas. Language study enhances career opportunities in fields such as business, government, healthcare professions, law enforcement, teaching, technology, the military, communications, industry, social services, marketing and many others. Some students choose to continue their education at graduate schools, which have recently included the universities of California at Santa Barbara, Delaware, Indiana State, Bucknell, SUNY at Binghamton, and Penn State. Language majors often pursue a second major in areas such as psychology, political science, business, music, history, international studies, or international business. Knowledge of another language and culture when combined with a second major has helped graduates succeed in a variety of professions.
