FACULTY AND STAFF: Meet Leslie Meeder

Visiting Instructor of Spanish B.A., University of Pennsylvania M.S., University of Pennsylvania
A native Philadelphian, Leslie Meeder received the B.A. in English and Spanish and the M.S. degree in education, both with highest honors, from the University of Pennsylvania (1980). She also holds secondary teaching certification in Spanish and English. Leslie has many years' experience teaching Spanish and English at the elementary, secondary, and college levels. She has spent time in Venezuela and among Spanish speakers in the metro New York area. She recently moved with her family from Long Island, where she initiated and developed a program of cooperative classes for homeschooling families. She has contributed chapters to several books on homeschooling. Special interests include Latino populations in the United States, missions, and community development in the Latino world.
