For over thirty years Dr. Robert Larson has been sharing sage advice to students interested in pursuing careers in International Studies. His expertise in World History, Politics, and International Relations makes him an ideal coordinator for this program.
Originally from New York City, Dr. Larson received a bachelor's degree from The Citadel in South Carolina and a Ph.D. from The University of Virginia. He is currently Chair of the Lycoming College History Department and has served as coordinator of our International Studies Program for 33 years!
Students describe Professor Larson as friendly, available, and extremely knowledgeable in his field. He is also one of our best teachers and a recipient of the Lycoming Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching.
