Getting Your PS2/XBOX Online

Below are instructions for obtaining the mac address of your PS2 or Xbox. Instructions are also provided for obtaining the IP address of an Xbox, which you can alternately use to register.

Once you have the mac or ip address of your box, return to the registration page and complete your registration.

Instructions for: Playstation 2 | Xbox | GameCube

Playstation 2

If you have SOCOM:

  1. Boot the SOCOM disk.
  2. In SOCOM's online mode, go to "Edit Network Settings". You will see the MAC address listed there. It is a string of 12 letters and numbers.

If you won't have SOCOM:

  1. Power up the PlayStation 2 and load the Network Adaptor Startup Disc
  2. Once it has loaded, Press X to enter the ISP SETUP
  3. The ISP SETUP will begin to load
  4. Once the setup process has loaded press X to continue
  5. After the network adapter has been found, press X to continue
  6. Press X again to continue
  7. If you already have a high-speed profile set up, select this profile and skip to step 12, otherwise continue with step 8.
  8. Select NEW and then press X to continue
  9. Type a name for you ISP setting. This can be any name you would like to associate with this connection.
  10. When asked is you currently subscribe to an ISP service, select YES and press X to continue
  11. For connection type, choose HIGH SPEED CONNECTION (CABLE OR DSL) and press X to continue
  12. Select AUTOMATIC SETTINGS and press X to continue
  13. When asked if you ISP requires a User ID and Password, select NO and press X to continue
  14. When asked if your Internet Service Provider requires you to input a DHCP Host Name, select NO, Unplug your ethernet cord from the PS2*, and press X to continue (Unplugging your ethernet cord from the PS2 ill cause the test to fail, you want this to happen so you can get the PS2 to display your MAC address.)
  15. Wait while your network connection is tested
    The network connection test will fail. Do not press X or Triangle. Press Select to see the error message
  16. The Network Adapter / MAC address will be displayed. The address is a combination of 12 numbers and letters


Xbox:

To get the Mac Address:

  1. Turn on your Xbox console with no game disc in the disc tray.
  2. From the Xbox Dashboard, choose Xbox Live.
  3. From the Connect Status screen, select Settings.
  4. The MAC address is the 12-digit number at the bottom-right corner of the Network Settings screen

To get the IP Address:

  1. Turn on your Xbox console with no game disc in the disc tray.
  2. The Xbox Dashboard should list your current ip address in the dashboard.


GameCube:

To get the Mac Address:

  1. Remove the network adapter from the GameCube. Printed on the underside of the GameCube will be the mac address of the adapter. It is a string of 12 letters and numbers. Copy this down, and replace the adapter.
