Voice Mail Shortcuts: 4999 + Security Code +
Change Greetings: 411
Change Password (security code): 431
Change Recorded Name: 432
Change to Alternate Greeting: 411 then press 2 then press 2 again
Bypass Greeting: Press # and Record Your Message:
If you wish to leave a message, you may bypass the department's or personal greeting by pressing the # at the beginning of the message. The system will immediately record your message.
How Can you Tell if you Have a Voice Mail Message
Single Line Phones
The "message waiting" light appears in the upper right hand corner of the phone, will be lit. Also, when you pick up your handset
and if you hear a "stutter" dial tone, it means there is a message. At this point, you may check your Voice Mailbox or you may proceed
with making your phone call. The message waiting dial tone will be present every time you pick up the handset until new messages are
listened to.
DTERM (Multi-Button) Phones
The "MW" (message waiting) light, upper right hand corner of the phone, will be lit.

message or if you need immediate assistance, please press #### at this time to be connected to the department secretary. Thank you."
When Answering a Department Telephone the Procedure Will Be As Follows:
(State Name of Dept.) - (Then Your Name) - May I Help You?
Always try to answer calls by the third ring and in a pleasant and professional manner.
