Types of Calls
To make the following calls from the College telephone system you must use a TAC number:
- Calling Card calls (For 800 numbers, there is a $.10 charge per call
unless made Pay telephone. It is considerably less expensive to dial direct using the campus
Telephone services then using credit cards.).
- Long distance calls.
- Local off Campus calls.
- International calls.
- All off Campus calls except 911 emergency.

Please check the Customer Guide [local calling pages] of the Verizon Telephone Directory for discount
information within the 570 area code.
Dialing Instructions
When pressing # key+9, you will hear a "steady tone"; continue to enter your TAC# and phone number.
