ASSISTANT PROFESSOR of CRIMINOLOGY

POSITION SUMMARY and QUALIFICATIONS:  Lycoming College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Criminology in the Department of Criminal Justice at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2009. Successful candidates must have a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, a dedication to the value of a liberal arts education, and an enthusiasm for teaching Criminology, Research Methods, Race/Class/Gender and Crime, and Introduction to Criminal Justice as part of their 3/3 teaching load. General areas of specialization are open and should complement the dynamic criminology and criminal justice majors. PhD in criminology, sociology, criminal justice, or related field required by time of appointment.
