A Florida native, Dr. Wild has been a professor at Lycoming College for 26 years. During that time, he has taught in the English, Theater and Religion departments, as well as the Communications department.

       Dr. Wild has an avid interest in the uses of storytelling in intercultural communication, as well as the history and study of film and television. He is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the American Society of Training and Development.

       As a professor, Dr. Wild feels that the primary focus of the Communications department at Lycoming is to integrate theory with practical experience. Students learn problem-solving as well as a foundation and knowledge of pop culture, both in day-to-day life and the mass media.
