TRACKS AND COURSES
The business major provides a well-balanced program consisting of the ‘business core’ and four major business tracks. After completion of the business core, which includes coursework in accounting, economics, management, finance, and organizational behavior, students choose from the following tracks:
Finance – Prepares students for work in financial environments such as banks, financial services, and investment brokerages.
Management – Prepares students in a broad range of managerial aspects and prepares students for management positions in small or large businesses, human resources, and electronic and retail commerce.
Marketing – Provides a comprehensive study of the marketing disciplines for all employment fields. Graduates typically obtain jobs in research, advertising, sales, and customer services.
International Business – Focuses on international relations--trade, marketing, finance--and requires a proficiency in a foreign language. Students are prepared for areas that deal with international and/or global business relations and commerce.
