WELCOME TO BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

       Welcome to the Business Department! The Lycoming College Department of Business Administration provides a superior education in the areas of finance, management, marketing, and international business. Students receive the close personal attention of faculty, learn how to use state-of-the-art computer technologies, and prepare themselves for a broad range of career opportunities. It is also accredited by the prestigious Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

       The Department offers a wide variety of U.S. and international internships with businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organizations through a special internship coordinator.

       The Department of Business Administration is an integral part of the Institute for Management Studies (IMS). As such, its majors and minors are afforded special opportunities that along with its expanded internship program include the Management Scholars Seminars as well as the James W. Harding Executive Speaker Series.

       IMS students can spend a semester studying business at the University of Westminster in the heart of London. Students will study at the Westminster Business School where they can take classes such as international business, marketing, finance and business economics. The WBS is located on Marylebone Road directly across from the Baker Street Tube station and Regents Park and is near excellent shopping, entertainment and cultural facilities.

        While studying at the Westminster Business School you will meet British students as well as students from around the world. You continue to pay Lycoming College's tuition rate and your credits will be applied to your degree program here.
