Arthur V. Campbell, IV, was born and raised on a thoroughbred horse farm near Monkton, Maryland. He was graduated from Towson University in 1978 with degrees in English and Fine Arts, both of which he put to use working in the advertising business as a copywriter, designer, and creative director. For several years, he ran a small industrial advertising agency in the Philadelphia suburbs before joining with other entrepreneurs who pooled resources to purchase and bundle of companies that manufactured diverse engineered products into what ultimately because Lunaire Limited, a international supplier of custom-engineered thermal processes systems. Over the years, the company grew from 17 employees to 398 and was sold to United Dominion. Arthur, and several of the other business partners, took an early retirement. While running the business, Arthur expanded his business and foreign language skills by taking courses at the Wharton School of Business and Dartmouth College. He now enjoys part-time teaching as a way to stay current with the younger generation and sharpen his presentation skills. He continues with partial ownership and management of a number of businesses and consults with select clients in marketing and financial matters.
