As part of the art colloquium, the department travels to a major metropolitan area every semester to visit museums and galleries.
The Art department also regularly offers classes involving travel during Lycoming's optional May Term. Recent art trips have included photography, digital imaging, painting, drawing, sculpture and art history courses in Greece, Turkey, Italy, France, Spain, Jamaica, Vietnam and Cambodia.
