Water

Water is calming, soothing, and relaxing. To me, water represents home, evoking memories of growing up at the beach. Water images of floods or storms were never negative to me. Even in harsh circumstances I view water as positive and comforting – a giving, life sustaining element. Whenever I am around water I am happy, alive, and free. Water in this work represents a conscious positive outlook on life in a world that often swells on the negative.
