Jay Stewart Art is a way for me to reach different audiences and interact with them. In my artwork I try to present the viewer with the opportunity to respond, emotionally or intellectually. This piece is a departure from reactionary art or deliberately startling art that I usually create. Instead, it acts as a puzzle. Who is an interactive installation, which will generate a unique experience for each person that views it. Who is the visual story of the investigation of a serial killer who has murdered six women. It shows an alternate reality where the events took place. The clothing and pictures serve as the link between the story and reality. Layering the objects with the images helps the audience interpret the materials as clues or evidence, which leads to the creation of an identity and motive for the killer. Who is a riddle waiting to be solved. |
