After graduating from Warren Hills Regional High School in Northwestern, NJ, I came to Lycoming as a recruited student-athlete. Having met some of the coaching staff and realizing my dream of a small college with a family atmosphere, I quickly made my decision to attend Lycoming. While attending, I had the privilege of representing my college through athletics, and the unique opportunity of combining my experience in student government and sports by serving the College in the Mid-Atlantic Conference Student Athletic Advisory Committee. Being able to study history, play soccer and contribute as an admissions tour guide gave me the opportunity to create the experience I had been looking for in a college. Lycoming also provided me with the greatest experience of all, meeting my wife, Sarah (Lycoming ’05).
I currently work with all students from the state of New Jersey and coach the Women’s Soccer Program. I enjoy the outdoors, playing soccer and spending time with my friends.
Joe graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in History. |

It seems hard to believe it has been ten years since my husband, 2 sons and I first encountered Lycoming. We were on a Pennsylvania college search trip for our older son, Tom, and Lycoming was one of 4 schools we were going to be looking at over a 5-day period. Since this was our first child to go through this process, I did not know what to expect. From the moment we walked through the front door at the Admissions House, we were made to feel like our son was the only applicant. After our visit, no other college came close in comparison.
Throughout Tom's 4 years as a student at Lycoming, I had bragged to everyone I knew about this wonderful little college in Pennsylvania. At the time, I had been a stay-at-home mom, very involved with the Parent Teacher Association and part-time jobs. At our son's graduation from Lycoming, there was a reception for the students that had been movers and shakers on campus. At the reception, I made a comment to the Assistant Director of Admissions that if they were ever looking for a local representative, I would love to apply for the job. Two months later, I met with our Director and the next week, began employment as an Admissions Counselor. Since being hired 5 ½ years ago, my younger son, Greg, has also gone to and graduated from Lycoming. I can honestly say this is the best job I have ever had because I believe in Lycoming and have seen the product it produces.
It has been my pleasure to introduce Lycoming to the high school students of Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. As my older son put it, "Lycoming is a Diamond in the Rough."
Chris holds a B.A. from George Washington University. |

Hailing from the small town of Oakfield, New York, I was looking for a college that offered a strong academic history and lots of opportunities to become involved in a place where I could still stand out in the crowd. I found that in Lycoming. From my first visit to campus, I knew this was where I could see myself spending the next four years of my life.
In my time at Lycoming, I became involved in all kinds of activities, from running on the cross-country team to serving as a Resident Advisor and on the Student Orientation Staff. As a business major, I received a top-notch education with lots of real world experiences, including an internship with an investment firm! Throughout my four years, I made countless friends, and even met my husband, Eric (Lycoming '07) here! Now, I'm happy to work with students from New York State and Northeast Pennsylvania. In my free time, I enjoy running, skiing, and spending time with family.
Erin graduated in 2007 with a B.A. in Business Administration. |

It’s amazing to imagine that only 5 years ago I was in the same position as so many other senior high school students--trying to a find the right college for me. Luckily, I found Lycoming. Lyco turned out to be the best fit for me as it not only had an amazing business program but also the family atmosphere for which I had been looking. I liked the idea of knowing that my professors were going to personally know me (by name) within my first week of classes and that they still remember me now.
While at Lyco, I participated in activities ranging from the Campus Activity Board to intramural volleyball. I also became heavily involved with the Community Service Center and worked in Admissions as a tour guide. Majoring in business, I had the opportunity to bump elbows with CEOs from some of the most popular companies in the world due to my involvement with the Institute for Management Studies. I had the unique privilege of introducing one of the speakers during an executive speaker series. A highlight of my four years here was placing as a finalist in The Quad College Business Plan Contest where three of my best friends and I developed our own business and came close to winning $10,000! Now, I’m fortunate enough to share these and other opportunities with future students.
I currently work with students from East Central Pennsylvania as well as the New England States. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and watching sports.
Patrick graduated in 2008 with a B.A. in Business Administration. |

After graduating from Lycoming in 2004, it was a privilege to accept a position with the Office of Admission at my alma mater. A graduate of North Hunterdon High School in Clinton, NJ, I came to Lycoming as a freshman because I was immediately drawn to the beautiful campus, friendly atmosphere, and I could continue my interest in performing music and community service. I found that Lycoming provided me with an excellent education which prepared me to pursue my Masters Degree in Higher Education at Bucknell University. I also had the opportunity to meet some great people who are now my closest friends and graduated with a lot of wonderful memories. Thanks to Lycoming College, I was able to continue my passion for jazz music by playing the trumpet with the College's Jazz Ensemble, volunteer some time by working with the youth in the Greater Williamsport Area and build houses with Habitat for Humanity in Florida, Washington, New Mexico, Mississippi, and South Carolina.
I currently work with students from the Greater Williamsport Area. I still perform outreach with Habitat for Humanity and sit on the steering committee for the Williamsport/Lycoming Young Professionals. When I'm not assisting students, you can find me downtown with friends grabbing some dinner at one of our many eateries, catching a show at the Community Arts Center, or jogging, hiking, fishing, golfing and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities in Lycoming County.
Jason graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in Corporate Communication.

Originally from central New Jersey, I was looking at schools within a three-hour distance from home. My search brought me to New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. I looked at everything from large universities to schools that had a smaller population than my high school. I really had no idea what I wanted out of college, but I knew that I wanted a place where I felt at home. When the time came to decide which school I was going to attend, Lycoming kept sticking out in my mind as a place where I’d be good hands…and I couldn’t have been more right!
Within my first week as a student, I got a campus job, joined the choir, had a radio show, and wrote for the school newspaper. After that first week I knew this was a place where I would spend four amazing years (and luckily I’ve been able to spend even more time here as an Admissions Counselor). Along with a great education, I made some of my best friends at Lycoming. One of my favorite memories was joining a sorority and all the fun activities that came with it, like Greek Week and Capture the Sweetheart.
I currently work with students from the Philadelphia area and Delaware. I enjoy spending time with friends, watching movies, and shopping!!
Jen graduated in 2006 with a B.A. in Corporate Communication. |

When I graduated from college in 2009, I knew exactly what I was looking for: a career in higher education. Naturally, I was thrilled when Lycoming offered me a position as an admissions counselor. Although I did not graduate from Lycoming, it’s easy to see why students and alumni love this institution. The campus is beautiful, the people are friendly and the liberal arts education is top-notch.
I currently work with students from South Central Pennsylvania and love telling them about everything that Lycoming has to offer. I enjoy visiting my family in New Castle, Pa.; spending time with my friends and my fiance, Gus; cooking; playing the piano; and watching sports – especially football and baseball.
Rachel graduated from Penn State University in 2009 with a B.A. in public relations and a minor in Spanish.

After graduating from Lycoming in 2005, I could not have asked for a better opportunity than working for my alma mater. A graduate of Curwensville Area High School in western PA, I came to Lycoming as a freshman because I was drawn to the picturesque, friendly campus and the close relationships between faculty, staff and students. I found that Lycoming was not only an institution that provided me with an excellent education, but also a college where individuals can make a lasting impact and grow by giving back to the community. For me, that was being an active member in the College Choirs and Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity in addition to employment as a Writing Tutor and Tour Guide. I still work with several of these campus groups and have traveled with Lycoming’s Tour Choir and the College’s chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
I currently work with all students from Western Pennsylvania. I love traveling, and enjoy spending time with friends, reading (the English major in me), and singing along with several close friends and Lyco alums in a men’s acapella group called Black Tie Affair.
Casey graduated in 2005 with a B.A. in English Literature and Psychology. |
